Who We Are

My name is Paul Rainey, and I work as a software engineer. That means I build and understand how apps work. I really enjoy working on social media apps like Snapchat. I have a smart and helpful team that does research, and then I write articles based on what we learn.

I know a lot about how Snapchat works—especially fun things like the Snapchat Planets system. But just to be clear, I don’t work for Snapchat or Snap Inc. I only share information to help people learn more about it.

I’ve made many social apps that are fun and easy to use. My goal is to share information about apps that people like and find useful.
